I installed and it breaks my search. Sorry to hear that. But it works fine at my end, couldn’t help you out without more details. But some have reported that MSE didn’t work on grid view: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/lovely-but-only-seems-to-work-on-media-grid?replies=7 , just fyi. Correct my previous reply, some reported MSE doesn’t work with list view in Media Library.
