Activating FILG causes Responsive Lightbox ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/responsive-lightbox/ ) to stop working completely. My client would like this effect, but since it breaks the site’s galleries, I’m unable to use this plugin. http://wordpress.org/plugins/fade-in-like-google/ You’re absolutely right. FILG is rather heavy-handed with regards to what it fades in and in this case it’s fading in components of your light box overlay that need to remain hidden. In it’s current state, FILG simply is not for everyone. I’m thinking about releasing an update where you get an options page and can enter CSS selectors to target which elements fade in, though I’m wary of that being too technical for the majority of users who want it to just work. How would that work for you, in this particular case?

You’re absolutely right. FILG is rather heavy-handed with regards to what it fades in and in this case it’s fading in components of your light box overlay that need to remain hidden.
