The plugin does what is supposed to, however when not enabling the home page for under construction it keeps adding some HMTL code which make facebook to break when showing previews. Basically is kkeeping meta and head code on top of all the real wordpress HTML. Hello Alexof, I’m sorry you are having issues with my plugin. Can I ask exactly what the problem you are encountering is? This is the first I am hearing of an issue regarding Facebook. Thank you for pointing out the Meta/header info still appearing when not enabled. I’ll make sure to toggle this chunk of code with the next update. Regards, Mike Hi Mike, Thanks for your quick reply. The exact problem is that having the plugin installed and NOT enabled in Settings, some of the source code will still be injected in my page and when i try to copy the URL in a facebook post the page will not show and running the URL in the FB debugger it will tell me that some meta tags are wrong. i think is because there is some elements duplicated in the source code, in specific the “head” one Let me know if you still need more info and i will try to reproduce it for you. Hi Alex, That makes a lot more sense now! I know what the problem is and have fixed it. How urgent is this on your end? I can either send you a replacement PHP file (With instructions of how to implement it) or if you can wait then I will have an update up Thursday (4th Sept) evening. Hi Mike, Glad to hear you have fixed the issue. I have no rush, i can wait until you publish the update. Thanks! Hi Alexof, The most recent update of my plugin is now ready for you to use. This should fix the issue you were having with Facebook Previews. If you have any other issues please feel free to open a support ticket in the Forum or email me directly at Mike@Morrowmedia.co.uk and I’ll do my best to help! Thanks again for using my plugin. Regards, Mike No problem! Thank you for the support! Alex Glad I could help you in the end! 🙂 Good luck with your website and all the best for the future! Regards, Mike
