Support stopped responding to my emails. He gave me attitude in an email as well. Unprofessional. Hallo there 🙂 Firstly, just to avoid confusion, I’m not associated with this plugin or its authors. While your review does describe your experience with the plugin, I would like to ask you to consider a few things? Plugin authors are not required to provide support for free plugins. There are a few reasons for this, including that support is one of the few ways plugin authors can monetize GPL-compatible plugins and the fact that we don’t want to potentially deprive the community of quality code by creating more barriers to entry into the plugin world. It should be up to plugin authors to decide the nature and extent of their contributions to Open Source. If you are using a free version of a plugin hosted on WordPress.org, please keep all support requests on these forums. E-mailing an author, or completing a contact form on their site in order to obtain support for a free version of a plugin is considered “following them home” and it is frowned upon here. If such behaviour is repeated, it could result in action on an account. If you are using a paid version of the plugin and the plugin includes upsells, reviews about the paid version are permitted here, provided they don’t break any of the other guidelines. However, support for commercial products is not allowed here. Nor can anyone on these forums assist you with a dispute. If you have purchased a paid product and you are not satisfied with the product, or the support (if support is included in the purchase), then please follow the appropriate dispute resolution procedues where you and the seller are located. Most payment providers have policies that cater specifically for that.
