Always display parents attributes

Hi, I am developing a site for a butcher shop. For a product, I have 3 parent attributes (various meat preparation) and several child attributes (weight depending on the piece of meat chosen). When I select a child attribute (weight) the 2 unselected parent attributes disappear. Is it possible to keep them displayed?
