Alt text not being applied to the images

Hi, I set the “Alt attribute value” to %title , but when I look at the properties of an image on a post that was just placed on my site, I see that it does not have the ALT TITLE. Any ideas? Thanks A Hi, I setup a test site and only enabled the SEO Optimized Images and Wpematico plugin. I use Wpematico to pull posts from my RSS feeds to post on the site. http://www.content.fantasticworkouts.com . I just imported a new post and the image in the post shows up without the ALT text.
