supportI may have understood how this plugin works, but I loaded 2 statuses: In Process and Shipped. When, according to the instructions, I went to WC Email tab, the new statuses weren’t there. When I entered an order, it has the “ON Hold” status, as before installing the plugin. I was hoping that it would replace the standard order statuses, with the ones I loaded in the plugin. Is that not how it works?
Hello @mecsys , I hope you are doing well. Just to clarify: the plugin does not automatically replace native WooCommerce statuses (Processing, On-hold, etc.). Instead, it adds custom statuses (like “In Process” or “Shipped”) that you can apply manually or trigger via automation rules. Therefore: New Orders: It is normal for a new order to still arrive as On-hold or Processing . This is determined by WooCommerce based on the payment gateway and your store settings. Emails: New statuses do not automatically appear under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails . To send an email for a custom status, you must enable email notifications within that specific status’s settings (inside the plugin) and configure the recipient. Here is a step-by-step guide with screenshots on how to create and edit statuses: https://brightplugins.com/docs/custom-order-status-manager-for-woocommerce-documentation/ Best regards, Peace!
thanks for the clarification
