supportWhen I use Ad Inserter together with the Read More button, the Read More button on the front page of my blog does not work properly. When I click the Read More button, it disappears, and it looks like the page is trying to load something, but nothing happens. I contacted WordPress support, but they said they cannot support third-party plugins. Could you please help me with this issue? I am using Ad Inserter version 2.8.10. Hello, since you have issues with the Read More button I would suggest to contact the support for this button. If this is WP button then please describe steps to reproduce the issue. I just checked and it seems to wor fine. It loads the content. Thanks for checking and for your reply. The Read More button stops working when Ad Inserter is active. After deactivating Ad Inserter, the Read More button works correctly again. I’ll contact the support team for the Read More button as suggested. Also, noted about remote debugging — I’ll review that as well.
Just to clarify: When Ad Inserter is active and ads are inserted into the post content, the Read More button stops responding. After disabling Ad Inserter, the Read More button works normally again. This seems to be a JavaScript or DOM conflict between ad insertion and the Read More button. Could you advise whether this is expected behavior or if there is a workaround on the theme side?
The plugin basically inserts the codes you configure. You can use debugging functions to isolate inserted codes / diagnose issues: https://adinserter.pro/documentation/debugging#back-end Here we can can mainly help you regarding Ad Inserter. Remote debugging still doesn’t seem to be enabled. So I can’t check anything. And I can’t reproduce any issue with the button. The content is loaded normally.
I have checked the Ad Inserter settings and could not find a specific “Enable Remote Debugging” option in my version. According to the documentation, debugging functions should already be available for logged-in administrators. I have activated Ad Inserter, and now the Read More button does not work properly. Please let me know what exact steps or URL parameters you need to see the debugging data.
You need to enable remote debugging – please check again the instructions . Otherwise we can’t help.
