supportHow can I make Age, Weight and Height sit ontop of the input like Gender? https://prnt.sc/10bgbbn This topic was modified 5 years, 2 months ago by edinmaloku .
Hi @edinmaloku . Could you share the url of the issue please?
I don’t have my site published at the moment but there was more issues with the responsiveness of the buttons aswell, even though this was the only calorie calculator hope for my website. Any way I can contact you more directly like discord/facebook if you don’t mind?
@edinmaloku it depends on the theme you use so we definitely have to see it live to avoid this for you and the other users in the future. For the customizations/additional work you can contact us from this page https://belovdigital.agency/contact/
Using it on Hello Theme with Elementor, known to be the most light-weight and most customisable theme. I’m making my site from scratch with no templates and stuff. I’ll re-add the plugin to my site and publish it for an hour or so for you to check the staying on-top of the labels part.
Ok, sure! Let me know the URL when it will be ready.
@edinmaloku we just released the new version, could you update the plugin and let us know if it fixed the issue?
@belovdigital Just got on my PC, I’ll get to it right away and see if the old bugs are still there. I’ve also tried making it responsive using CSS through the Plugin Editor but it seems like you used a CSS minimizer or something, couldn’t edit much stuff.
@edinmaloku Sure, take your time. But please get back to us either way. Also please don’t edit the plugin code directly as it will be overridden by the next update (that happens pretty often), use your Customizer in wp-admin => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS instead if you really need to override any CSS rules. I’m actually using an additional HTML element and just using <style> to change stuff to my design. I’ve just tried your new version and the text ontop of label issue is fixed, thanks a lot! But there’s still some responsiveness issues. For example the inputs simply don’t look aesthetic, one being bigger and one smaller on iPad and Phone. But on iPad Pro it seems to look pretty well, same like for desktop. I’ve made my site public for you to check: https://konstantiniholding.com/ Just as an example, the height and weight labels aren’t the same width as the other two and stuff. For iPad, it’d be much better for the gender choice buttons to be small like the rest too. You’ll notice the issues once you check my website anyway.
Everything aside, I’d like to thank you for the plugin and personally listening to me for the issues. I appreciate it a lot!
@edinmaloku yes, that’s how it’s currently designed, it’s not a bug. Big thanks for your feedback and for using our plugin! Hope you enjoy it overall. Also, we’ll publish the PRO version soon, you’ll see notification in your current plugin in case you’ll decide to know more about it. Have a great day and don’t forget to leave a review 🙂
Certainly will consider the PRO version. Would you mind recommending me a solution for making height and weight labels same width as the others for phone while my site is public?
I see. We’ll create another plugin update now, it will be uploaded in 30-60 min
Thanks a lot, I’m going to change the language from the source code too. Will show you the complete re-design of the plugin for my site once it’s done!
@edinmaloku you can translate the plugin using Loco Translate. Looking forward to seeing it!
https://prnt.sc/10c9mud Looks pretty good to me, except that the Age, Height and Weight input fields look a bit weird small like that but I can live with it hahaha! going to use the Loco Translator aswell, waiting for the next update to update immediately to check out the mobile changes.
@edinmaloku 1.0.6 just released
Yep, that’s it. Phone looks perfect, thanks a lot!
@edinmaloku HOORAY! 🙂 Thanks for letting us know!
I’m done with this section of my website for now thanks to your plugin, looking forward to more updates on your plugin so I can maybe customize it more in the future! Thanks again!
Just tried translating with Loco translate but it doesn’t seem to take effect, looked around the support forums and their developer is saying if it doesn’t translate automatically after saving, the plugin is not compatible. Should I just translate it in the source code of your plugin?
@edinmaloku we can’t say why it’s not working, we have a .pot language template file in our plugin files and it should work fine with Loco. We’ll double check it asap.
Yeah, I noticed there’s a .pot file in the plugin folder when I went through my FTP to check what’s wrong. Unless I somehow don’t know how to activate it, no idea what could be wrong. I translated the stuff manually, pressed save and it said it’s deployed but no changes were present. Tried to see if it’s a caching issue and all, confirmed it’s not.
@edinmaloku you may want to read the Loco Translate documentation to make sure you do it right. As it’s another plugin, we can’t provide support on it, sorry.
Figured it out just now, was busy with some other stuff on the website. Works perfectly now!
