supportI am trying to get the WordPress / BuddyPress account integration working. I have followed the instructions on the API page and installed the plugin. The chat room appears, but says “This chat-room is for private users only” This happens regardless of if a user is logged in or not to the site. I have made sure in the RumbleTalk settings page that Allow login as Guest is checked as per the documentation. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi, Well, if you are using WordPress plugin, then you do not need to use the direct API. To make your users login automatically, you can simply click on the plugin checkbox called “members”, this will connect your users base to the chat room. Note, you need to delete the code you added to your pages to prevent conflicts.
