supportDoes your GovernDocs – Policies, Meetings & Reports plugin support levels of access based on user type? For instance, can some documents be made available only to people logged in with a Subscriber account?
Hi there, I’m the support rep for this plugin. We are are currently working on access levels, but this will be a feature within the PRO plugin. It should be complete within a the next week or so. The way it will work is it will be a schortcode attribute that will block access to whichever role(s) you decide and rather than displaying the document, it will display a button with text of your choosing with a configurable URL and an optional description of your choosing.
Hi there, We have added this feature into the PRO plugin. You can see some docs for it here: https://governdocs.com/docs/policy-features-in-pro/ This blocks access to any document for any role on the frontend. We are also working on fine-grained access controls for the backend as well which will allow role-based editing of documents. I’m going to mark this as resolved, but if you need to follow up you can reopen this thread. thanks
