It has been 2 years since this plugin has had an update. Has this plugin been abandoned? Hi Ken, Thanks for your message. As far I’m aware the plugin works well on the latest version of WordPress? If you’re experiencing any issues, please do let us know. We’re continuing work on various projects, focusing on Customer Support and Knowledge Base plugins, you can find out more at HeroThemes.com . Thanks again, Richard Yes, my issue is that because this plugin is not being maintained WordPress is now showing a warning that it hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress, and security programs like Wordfence are tagging this plugin as abandoned because it has not been updated for the past 2 years. These 2 factors alone raise the question if this plugin has been abandoned. It’s nice that you are working on other projects, but these projects do not pertain to this plugin specifically. Agree 100%. Plugin author could take 1 hour of time and just test the plugin on latest WP, and then release update which says in changelog that they “Tested with Latest WP version” and then leave it at that. I can confirm myself that this plugin works great on the latest WordPress version without any issues. It’s not a heavy plugin anyways and probably doesn’t need to be updated, but doing the above will show that this plugin is still checked occasionally and not abandoned. Hello Ken and Kevin, Thank you both for your feedback. We have tested the plugin with the latest version of WordPress and can confirm it works seamlessly. We acknowledge that we dropped the ball on maintaining the plugin and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Moving forward, we will improve our processes to ensure our WordPress.org plugins are regularly updated and maintained. Your comments are invaluable in helping us better serve the community, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Best regards, Chris Thanks @chrishadley for the response and for taking the time to push out an update. It’s much appreciated. 😎
