Above is an example of many 403 errors reported by BLC. Link text on the above page is Click here for the full West Dunbartonshire Literacy Initiative report. Link works if I test it manually, but BLC is reporting 403 “broken for 4 months”. I’m wondering the BLC test comes from our EC2 server and is being rejected by a reverse proxy, whereas my own computer is accepted? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] I should add this is the old checker. If I turn on the cloud version, I still see 403 errors for pages I can load locally. e.g. https://www.udemy.com/help-your-child-to-read-and-write which redirects to: https://www.udemy.com/course/help-your-child-to-read-and-write/ Hello @nikdow Hope you are doing well today. I have visited several links mentioned on your site and came across a page that appears to be protected by Cloudflare’s anti-bot system. It automatically challenges users, and since Broken Link Checker uses a limited number of fixed IP addresses, it is possible that the firewall is blocking it for no valid reason. View post on imgur.com Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about this because we don’t have any control over third-party websites’ firewalls. You can manually check these links and add them to the ignore list. https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#ignore-url-rules Best Regards Amin Thanks, I suspected as much, thanks for confirming.
