Hello, I apologize for your displeasure, so I hope I can help you. The current version of the plugin is 4.0.6 and, as far as I know, I have tested it with old installations and the update has worked correctly. As I have added functions to the plugin, the database tables have been expanded, and even existing ones have been modified. Tell me where you are and from which version you have updated so I can replicate the error and provide you with a solution. Regarding the fact that it is in Spanish, it is true that it includes the .mo and .po files in Spanish, but if the language of your site is different from es_ES all text entries will be displayed in English. All files are ready to translate the plugin using Poedit. I await your comments, and I apologize again, but there have been significant medical issues that have kept me away these years; now I hope to be quicker in my responses. Thank you for your comments.
I’m using the old version 3.0.1 to which I made some improvements, as best I could (by searching the Internet), not being a developer. At the moment, I don’t risk another update – I updated to 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 one by one and I worked for some time to go back to old version. Maybe I’ll try the followings and eventually I’ll ask you for a little help. Personally, I don’t like the “Frases (user view)” and “Search results (user view)” screens. Why do visitors need to see Quote ID? I don’t think it has any relevance for them. Also, Class and Theme. If plugin users explain on the main page what visitors can search for (like I did – https://dan-caragea.ro/colectie-de-citate/ ), I think only Quote + author is the ideal solution. But again, it’s a personal opinion . Maybe we’ll collaborate better in the future. P.S. I am the only one who gave a 5 star rating for this plugin (I liked the structure from the beginning, something I haven’t found in other plugins for quotes).
